McCain said the charges were the "result of the hard work of America's law enforcement and intelligence officials who dedicate their lives to bringing to justice those who wish to do us harm".
With the charges, Mueller's prosecutors have marked out another Internet pathway they say Russian Federation used to influence the USA election.
Russian Federation has also denied any connection to the breach.
When the Federal Bureau of Investigation issued a public warning about the state election board hacks in August 2016, the hackers deleted search histories and other records related to election-related entities.
Russia's Foreign Ministry is denouncing the United States' indictment of 12 alleged military intelligence agents accused of hacking into Democratic accounts in the 2016 U.S. elections. They also bought Bitcoin by using peer-to-peer exchanges, moving funds through other cryptocurrencies and setting up prepaid cards, according to prosecutors. Rosenstein noted that the Russians tried to paint a false cover for Guccifer 2.0 as Romanian. On Feb. 16, his prosecutors charged 13 Russians and three Russian entities they said were part of a broader effort to sow discord among US voters through social media - which they used to impersonate Americans, coordinate with unwitting USA activists and even plan rallies.
On the morning of July 27, 2016, Trump gave a speech in which he said "Russia, if you're listening", he'd love to get a look at the thousands of emails Clinton had said she deleted from her tenure as secretary of state.
The indictment says the Guccifer persona received a request for stolen documents from an unnamed congressional candidate and sent that individual stolen documents about the candidate's opponent. That includes "a candidate for the US Congress", a "then-registered state lobbyist and online source of political news" and a reporter.
The goal of the conspiracy was to have an impact on the election.
The charges come as Mueller continues to investigate whether there was any coordination between Russian Federation and the Trump campaign on election interference.
Nikolay Yuryevich Kozachek, a member of Morgachev's department, used the names "kazak" and "blablabla1234565" and helped develop and monitor X-Agent when it was used to hack into the DNC and DCCC networks beginning around April 2016, according to the indictment. The investigation, which is being carried out by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, has already indicted 20 people and three companies.
"I love the United States", Trump continued. "The special counsel's investigation is ongoing", he said.
"We have this stupidity going on, pure stupidity, but it makes it very hard to do something with Russian Federation, because, anything you do, it's like: 'Russia, oh He loves Russian Federation'".
"The defendants covertly monitored the computers, implanted hundreds of files containing malicious computer code, and stole emails and other documents", Rosenstein said.
