July is turning out to be one of the most interesting months for smartphone launches. Also, Mi A2 comes with Gorilla Glass 5, giving maximum protection from accidental drops.
DirectD revealed today that Xiaomi's Redmi Note 5 will now be priced at RM869 for the variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, with the base model 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant coming in at just RM699 now. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is expected to come to India at a later date. Though the major specifications of the handset are already known, Indian gadget buyers will be looking out for the Xiaomi Mi A2 price in India. The device will be exclusively available via Amazon India; starting August 9 at 12PM. It's the second phone in the Android One series of phones from the Chinese tech giant. The smartphone bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture, coupled with LED flash and PDAF. Incidentally, Xiaomi Mi A2 does not have a 3.5mm audio jack, which means traditional 3.5mm headphones can not be connected to the smartphones directly. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, IR Blaster, and USB Type-C port. There is a 20MP front camera with AI-powered Beautify 4.0, HDR, and Portrait Mode. Inside its metal body is a Snapdragon 636 processor and a 4,000 mAh battery that charges via microUSB.
Since it's a Google's Android One device, the phone comes with unlimited high-quality photo storage on Google Cloud as well as monthly security updates and two major OS updates. On the other hand, the phone carries a 20MP front camera with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). In India, the company is launching only the Mi A2.
