She was found unresponsive on the sidewalk above the Major Deegan Expressway at Undercliff Ave. and Boscobel Place in Highbridge in the Bronx borough of New York City.
The night before her body was found, it appeared she was celebrating her birthday. The reality star, who turned 26 on August 6, posted videos to Instagram showing her out at the Frederick Hotel, the SoHo Grand and Dream Downtown in Manhattan.
The 26-year-old, who appeared with her sister Maya on EJ Johnson's Rich Kids Of Beverly Hills spinoff in 2016, was found "sprawled out on the sidewalk" in a pajama top and no trousers Tuesday morning. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation remains ongoing.
Lyric's last Instagram post came three days ago when she shared a picture of her standing next to a dock holding a bicycle, with the caption: 'Those who know know that my making it on this bike ride sans injury is major.
Her sister Maya McHenry joined in on the celebrations.
McHenry, who was wearing a silk pink dress throughout the night, later took a bathroom selfie at an unknown location.
One snap showed off her male companion's suit while another showed them on a rooftop, holding drinks as he happily exclaimed 'It's your birthday!' while she blew a kiss to the camera.
She even has a photo of herself standing next to former First Lady Michelle Obama on her Instagram page.
A close friend of McHenry's mother revealed that she was "hysterical" upon receiving the devastating news.
Last week, Johnson celebrated McHenry's birthday with a loving social media post. McHenry was also a producer on the show.
She went on to work as an agent trainee at UTA before moving on to jobs in video production at Complex Networks and Refinery29.
