Arnold and Burnett were involved in a brief physical altercation on Sunday night as both entered the Evening Before party in Century City, the glitzy annual fundraiser for the Motion Picture Television Fund. Which man started the confrontation is unclear, with both sides claiming the other party was the aggressor.
Arnold has been working to uncover the infamous pee tape, as well as behind the scenes footage from The Apprentice that allegedly shows Trump using the N-word.
The eight-episode series follows Arnold as he searches for rumored recordings of Trump that are said to be potentially damaging.

Burnett has remained quiet about the incident, but about an hour after Arnold tweeted, Burnett's wife, actress Roma Downey, posted a photo of her hand and said that Arnold "ambushed" them.
"Got this bruise tonight when Tom Arnold tried to ambush my husband Mark and me at a charity event", Downey captioned the photo.
- Matthew Belloni (@THRMattBelloni) September 17, 2018Mark Burnett doesn't seem too thrilled about my new tv show.
Arnold says Downey is lying and he plans to sue her for defamation. "Bulls-. You lie your insane husband attacked me you psycho". "I'm like, 'What about the country guys?' " Arnold is also quoted as saying: "I'm definitely going to do something at the Emmys". "He's okay. We gotta protect this brutal angel", he wrote.
He also responded to one commenter, adding, "Roma knocked Bryan Fogel's phone out of his hand after Mark Burnett choked me". He won the Oscar this year for his unbelievable documentary Icarus.
Reps for Arnold could not immediately be reached for comment on Monday.
