Internet security company McAfee said Rose is the most unsafe celebrity in 2018, which means search results generate risky links to potentially malicious websites.
The final celebrities that comprised the top 10 most risky stars to google include Lynda Carter (4), Rose Byrne (5), Debra Messing (6), Kourtney Kardashian (7), Amber Heard (8), Kelly Ripa (9) and Brad William Henke (10).
Rose, 32, who was recently announced to play the role of Batwoman in an upcoming CW television series, is the 12th celebrity to be crowned the title, said McAfee spokesman Gary Davis. Reality TV star, Cavallari finished behind Rose at No. 2, followed by Cotillard (No. 3), the original Wonder Woman Carter (No. 4), Byrne (No. 5), Messing (No. 6), reality TV star Kardashian (No. 7), actress Heard (No. 8), morning TV show host Ripa (No. 9), and actor Henke as No 10.
The study, conducted by McAfee, highlights the dangers of clicking on suspicious links when searching for celebrity-focused content.
"In our hyper-connected world, it's important for consumers to think before they click to be sure that they are surfing to safe digital content and protecting themselves from cybersecurity threats that may be used to infect their devices or steal their identity".
