The South Korean smartphone maker is expected to launch Galaxy S10 either at CES 2019 in January or at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in February. The pioneering Galaxy A9 debuts the world's first rear quad camera and is packed with features created to help you live each day to the fullest.
But the stars of the show as far as the A9 goes are its four cameras on the back.
To recall, the recently launched Galaxy A7 comes with triple cameras and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Building on Samsung's heritage in first-class design, the Galaxy A9 is styled in three unique colors; Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue and Bubblegum Pink with a sleek and ergonomic design, that fits in one hand with a 3D Glass curved back for a high-quality comfortable feel.
Android Version: Android 8.0 Oreo.
Internal memory: 128 GB, support for microSD memory cards (up to 512 GB).
The Samsung Galaxy A9 sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ sAMOLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The "heart" of the device is OCTA-core Qualcomm SDM660 (4×2.2 GHz and 4×1.8 GHz). So, it could be either the Galaxy Note 10 or the Galaxy S11 which will come equipped with one less port. What it is now trying to do is improve the level at which it can complement a shutterbug's main camera. What is great about having these many cameras is that you can alternate between different lenses to the photo will be taken in different effects such as shots taken from a long distance or panoramic ones.
The phone employs the Face Unlock technology.
Numerous manufacturers have stepped up with their own efforts to produce a foldable smartphone. Pricing and the effectiveness of the quad-camera setup will be crucial for the Galaxy A9 (2018) to make a mark for itself in a market that's pretty competitive. In terms of connectivity, the phone comes with dual SIM, 4H VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB port and 3.5 mm audio jack port. The best uses of this feature include waving at the phone to flip through pages in various apps, activate the scroll feature in your browser or use the Twitter app, and hovering your finger over the photo album to see the previews of the images in it.
