Do not forget to share your inputs on the latest Fossil Sport smartwatch in the comments section below. A heart-rate sensor, GPS, NFC and other sensors including an Altimeter, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Ambient Light, Microphone as well as 2.4GHz 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. So, whether you forget your charger or just choose to unplug on the weekends, battery saver is created to stretch your watch battery to last until you can charge again. Additionally, the Smartwatch also comes with pre-installed apps like Spotify and Noonlight.
Fossil today has unveiled its first smartwatch based on the new Snapdragon Wear 3100 wearable platform. There are also a wide range of interchangeable silicon straps which are also water-resistant. The Fossil Sport Smartwatch is already available online and at partnered retail stores in the US. It also has Qualcomms latest Snapdragon Wear 3100 chip that replaces the far-outdated 2100 chip.
Fossil also claims that the Sport's battery is rated for all-day use.
So when I say the Fossil Sport could challenge for the title of best Wear OS smartwatch, don't get to excited. The watch is available in two sizes - 41mm and 43mm - and comes in six different colors - gray, pink, red, blue, green, and black. The main difference is the Sport's design relies on a nice pop of color-sort of like the Baby-G watches of yesteryear. One that's meant to make smartwatches more useful and support longer battery life. That said, the Apple Watch still lingers in that one-day category, so it's clear people still don't demand more, even if it's inconvenient. The new OS has a better shortcuts menu, better-looking and easier to read notifications, improved gestures, Google Assistant built in, and a totally redesigned Google Fit app.
