Reports from the Mirror claim that Juventus want to make a last-ditch attempt to sign Hudson-Odoi and hijack Bayern Munich's deal for the 18-year old.
Bayern's latest bid of around £40million is believed to be close to Chelsea's valuation of the teenager but the club are reluctant to let him go without a series of clauses, included a buy-back option.
"They've just signed [Christian] Pulisic for £60m and this is one of the best young payers in world football at the moment and he's not going to get any game time".
"What I can say: We like the player and take a great interest in signing him".
Speaking after Tuesday's first-leg defeat to Tottenham in the EFL Cup semi-finals, Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri insisted Hudson-Odoi had not been distracted by the speculation.
Bayern have been very public about their desire to sign Hudson-Odoi in recent weeks, sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic said they "absolutely want to sign" him earlier this week. The Argentine is now on loan at AC Milan, but the London club want to sign him this January. I can advise him, but at the end of the day he decides about his future.
'You can see it from both sides.
Hudson-Odoi has been targeted by Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich for a shock January transfer to Germany.
"He played like a player of 25 or 26 years, I think - very good match of application, very good in the defensive phase, very, very good".
'As someone from our academy I would obviously love him to stay and the dream for all of us at the academy is to see our boys playing in the first team, ' he said.
"The referee told me they have explained it to us already but maybe they haven't explained it to the linesman because he stopped and if there is any doubt that it is offside he has to continue running". He has all the tools to become a big player, but he has to work a lot.
