The White House has announced that Colombian President Ivan Duque and First Lady Maria Juliana Ruiz Sandoval will visit on February 13 to discuss pro-growth policies, terrorism and illicit narcotic networks, regional security partnerships and efforts to restore democracy in Venezuela.

However, not all in the European Union have offered resounding support for Guaido, the National Assembly leader. He has repeatedly called on Venezuela's military, which has remained loyal to Maduro, to support a transition to democracy.
Venezuela also marks an unusually forceful intervention in another country by Trump, who has promised to pull USA troops from Syria and Afghanistan and has held back on reprimanding U.S. allies over human rights.
The Lima Group of Latin American countries and Canada called Monday for a peaceful change in government in Venezuela, without military intervention.
Mexico and Uruguay have not recognized Guaido, the head of the National Assembly who declared himself acting president on January 23 in place of Maduro.
In an address to his ruling party's legislators, Erdogan said the European Union countries had "delivered the presidency of a nation to someone who hasn't even been through an election".
Russia, China, and Iran have put their weight behind Maduro, as has Turkey.
Trump's national security adviser, John Bolton, met Tuesday in Washington with Brazilian Foreign Minister Ernesto Araujo and promised coordination on aid.
"This is already quite advanced, I hope that next week it can be announced by our representative in the United States", Paparoni said, though he did not give details about the nature of the US -based fund or the financial institution involved.
"From today, we will spare no effort in helping all Venezuelans achieve freedom, prosperity and harmony", Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said, referring to the decision to recognise Guaido as president.
