Western Washington wakes up to more snow Saturday

In Portland, the other major city in the Pacific Northwest, 1 to 4 inches of snow is expected.
Higher elevation areas such as the Teton Valley, the Snake River Highlands, or near Island Park might see between 6 and 12 inches of snow.
Travel early today to beat our next winter storm that will move into the Sierra this evening and last through Sunday evening with a winter storm warning up. Seattle averages 6.8 inches of snow over the course of an entire year.
The winds expected to accompany the storm could cause issues with blowing snow, as well as downed power lines and trees.
The snow is likely to slow or stop Saturday morning, but two more snowstorms are expected to hit early next week.
