Amazon Prime Day 2019 kicks off on July 15, and perhaps in order to prevent such an influx of customers at one time again, the event is a two-day affair which will begin at midnight PT and continue for 48 hours.
"We can't wait to celebrate Prime Day with an extraordinary night of unforgettable performances, for members around the globe", said Steve Boom, Vice President of Amazon Music. Members can look for savings on Amazon's products, Whole Foods items, new product launches and entertainment options.
The retail giant's sales don't require a membership like Amazon, something the company is focusing on in addition to their sales. This is the first Prime Day in which free one-day shipping will be available to members with no minimum purchase amount.
Amazon isn't the only company gearing up for Amazon Prime Day though, as eBay has a proposition for you - if Amazon goes down like it did past year, eBay will put on its Crash Sales, so consumers can still get tech products for a discounted price.
Amazon recently updated its Prime offering.
Of course, as you probably guessed, you do have to be an Amazon Prime member to get access to this enormous sale, so if you aren't already, it's probably the flawless time to sign up (seriously, it will be worth it).
On Monday, Nordstrom announced it will launch its two-week "anniversary sale" on July 19, with discounts on brands such as Topshop and Madewell.
