All the drama started when Scooter bought the record label which owns all of Taylor's albums (except for the upcoming record, Lover which is being released next month).
Taylor said she only found about the deal when it was announced in the news, but it's a claim that Scott disputes in an open letter on his blog. In a note to fans on her Tumblr page, Swift wrote that not only had she not been given the opportunity to purchase her masters from BMLG, but she also only learned about the label's sale to Braun when the news broke to the general public.
Taking to her Instagram account, the Canadian dancer said: "I regret working under your name". We didn't get any comments from Swift and her Attorney yet. "Maybe he's the one who has supported her the most, because they're best friends and he didn't waste time writing on Instagram what he could have said directly to her".
Page Six has reached out to Bieber's team for comment.
She continues: "Now Scooter has stripped me of my life's work, that I wasn't given an opportunity to buy". She alleged that Braun had bullied her; he works with Kanye West, whose music video for Famous depicts an unclothed likeness of Swift, which she described as a "revenge porn music video which strips my body naked".
At the end of that deal, Big Machine kept the masters, meaning that they kept all future profits from those records.
The My My My singer finished the entry with a burn to Scooter: 'Scooter Braun, I don't know you.
"Owning my masters was very important to me, but I've since realised that there are things that mean even more to me in the bigger picture. Essentially, my musical legacy is about to lie in the hands of someone who tried to dismantle it", she wrote.
Taylor Swift made some really shocking claims about famed star manager Scooter Braun after he purchased the rights to her entire music catalog.
Pop star Sia has denied using blackface after Taylor Swift fans unearthed a 2011 photo showing her face and neck painted black.
The record will be Taylor's first on her new deal with Universal Music.
