Acclaimed Kiwi director Taika Waititi has signed a deal to write and direct a follow-up to his 2017 smash hit film Thor: Ragnarok. Even so, sources close to The Hollywood Reporter indicate that Warner Bros. may be willing to wait until production on Thor 4 is complete.
He also played the alien gladiator Korg in Thor: Ragnarok and recently reprised his role in Avengers: Engdame.

While we all knew that Waititi was keeping busy with his other project, the live-action adaptation of Akira, it looks like it is now going to be delayed for Thor 4. So could Thor 4 be a proper capper or will it be more of an epilogue in the same way Toy Story 4 was one? With Thor flying off with the Guardians at the finale of Endgame, I would love it that he would appear in the movie in the same level that Hulk was part of Ragnarok.

No release date has been set for the fourth installment as of yet.
