But me, I never left. "I remember all of it", a voice says at the beginning of the trailer.
In the trailer, each character is haunted by Pennywise in various scenarios: Bill (James McAvoy) tries to rescue a kid who runs into the demonic figure inside a funhouse, while Beverly (Jessica Chastain), visits an elderly lady who doesn't want her to leave. Unlike the first footage that arrived a couple of months back - which focused exclusively on Beverly Marsh - this clip is decidedly more well-rounded, featuring most of the film's cast and characters and teasing the horror to come when Pennywise returns. They've all grown up and moved away, until a devastating phone call brings them back.
It Chapter Two stars Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone and Andy Bean. Again, Andy Muschietti - who helmed 2017's IT - is back to direct the followup.
Following a well received teaser, the first theatrical trailer for the upcoming horror sequel, It Chapter Two, has been released online on Thursday, hot on the heels of its exclusive premiere at the ongoing San Diego Comic Con.
Chapter Two is nearly here and the final trailer for the film just arrived online.
Over 4,500 gallons of fake blood were used during one particular scene, most of it on her. Chastain said that she even encouraged her friend Muschietti to use more. And don't even get us started on the spiders.
All things considered, then, there's a ton of exciting talent on board and we're hopeful that they'll be able to deliver on the high expectations set by the first film when It: Chapter Two creeps into theaters on September 6th.
