However, this year, we're seeing about the same amount of leaks.
The Google Pixel 4 leaks just keep on coming. In moves just like this in the past, Google and other hardware manufacturers have used not-so-subtle Easter eggs in the display dates on hardware images to hint at upcoming reveal events.
This October 15 date is a bit later than usual for Google's annual "Made by Google" event. Have a peek at the timeline below for more information on what we're expecting from this smartphone (or these two smartphones, more than likely), and stay tuned as we turn up at the event in NY with full hands-on and first impressions with everything Google's got onhand! More than a couple of videos have appeared showing the Pixel 4 series and many of their highlighted features including the 90Hz refresh rate toggle, Ambient EQ, new camera UI, 3D face unlock options, and a lot lot more.
The Pixel 4 has been leaking left, right and center as of late. Then of course, there's Soli gestures which we're interested to see. With the Pixel 4 and 4 XL being quite pricey flagships, the suggestion is that it is a more affordable Pixel phone launching alongside the two premium devices. And given the Pixel's past emphasis on mobile photography, expect to hear a lot about photo improvements beyond the multiple cameras featured on the back of the phones. And since this is Google hardware we're talking about, it's the safest bet in the world that the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will feature Android 10, the latest version of Google's operating system. This event will take place at 12 NOON Central Time (10AM PDT, 1PM Eastern) and will be available for viewing in the YouTube live event embedded above!
