Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL will not be launching in India, according to the spokesperson of the tech giant.
I tried to dive into most of the big software features that Google has highlighted, like the new Google Assistant, Motion Sense, and Live Caption. You can literally swipe in the air without even unlocking your phone. Whether you can't spend $800 on the latest Pixel 4 or you don't think it's worth the cost, you would be snagging quite a powerful phone at a great price by choosing the Pixel 3 today instead.
Google said the phone can even automatically call 911 for users if they are trapped in a vehicle accident or auto crash, a unique feature previously unseen on other smartphones. The larger model is equally powered with Soli radar technology.
Google announced the company's first-ever wireless earbuds called "Pixel Buds" at the Made by Google event in New York City.
At the hardware event, Google said that "Motion Sense" interacts with the nearby surroundings to make the gestures work efficiently.
In terms of sound quality, Google says the Pixel Buds' unique hybrid design, which includes a spatial vent, lets through "just the right amount" environmental sound so you can stay aware of the things around you, while still delivering "powerful" sound.
5G definitely fits into Google's long-term plans, because the company sees its Pixel line as a gateway to its services. Strangely enough, the Pixel 4 has a smaller battery capacity than the Pixel 3 (2,800 mAh compared to 2,915 mAh), though the 4 XL boasts a 3,700 mAh the 3 XL's 3,430 mAh.
Other than that the Pixel 4 seems to come with all the expected bells and whistles; an improved camera, better chips, etc. However, Google doesn't stop bringing new updates and features.
"The Indian smartphone market is dominated by Chinese players. with people generally buying phones for less than 15,000 rupees ($210)", he added - less than a third of the $799 starting price for the Pixel 4 in the United States.
One of the coolest new Android features Google announced at I/O this year was the ability to perform real-time captioning on your smartphone. At the rear, they tout a dual-camera setup: one for wide-angle and one for zoom.
