The Mandalorian makes nothing more than scraps, for all of these bounties, and we see that bounty hunting is not an easy profession. If we have a Yoda clone out there predisposed to the light it could exist to balance one who was created predisposed to the dark. Viewers couldn't see his face, but the title character undoubtedly shared the audience's shock after he and IG-11 fought their way through the Arvala-7 stronghold only to learn that their 50-year-old target was actually an alien infant. His colleague, Dr. Pershing, however, was adamant the baby be recovered alive. "The Mandalorian is already proving to be a big thing, so if that series proves to be so compelling that we reverse engineer it into a theatrical release, a two-hour film or whatever, O.K.", he told Variety.
The first episode, "Chapter One", has arrived with the launch of Disney+ and ends with a shocking twist that opens up a world of possibilities, and could answer a longstanding and major question in Star Wars lore. There are bound to be complications recreating someone as strong as the Emperor, and they might just wind up with a regular human Sheev Palpatine and not an Emperor with unlimited powahhh. I'm also left wondering if the race of Yoda is more Force-sensitive, so this would be a way of introducing The Force into this series.
Earlier in the episode, when our odd pair are taking a rest at a camp site, we see Baby Yoda crawl out of their pod and reach out towards the Mando.
You may recall the junk-flipping Jawas from the beginning of Star Wars: A New Hope; they're the group that incapacitated and sold R2-D2 and C-3PO back to Luke at the very beginning of the movie (back when he was just looking for power converters, jeez).
DC Universe has released eight manufacturer new illustrations or photos from the upcoming fourth episode of the second period of Titans entitled, "Aqualad". Amid some technical glitches and weird additions to other corners of the galaxy far, far away ("Maclunkey!"), the new streaming service's first major draw was well worth the wait, even if United Kingdom audiences might not agree given the extra few months' delay. "The Mandalorian cartoon, the Boba Fett cartoon, from the holiday special was definitely a point of inspiration for what we did in the show".
The big difference here is that Agents of SHIELD took place about the same time as The Winter Soldier, whereas The Mandalorian is set decades before The Rise of Skywalker. Then we can go into The Rise of Skywalker armed with that game-changing knowledge.
Even before Disney acquired Lucasfilm in 2012, Star Wars has been trying to swap the silver screen for the small screen for quite some time.
There's also the fact that the in-continuity timeline works out pretty well, too. It's the kind of reveal that indicates that the Mandalorian could have played a crucial role leading up to the events of present-day trilogy, particularly the concluding "Rise of the Skywalker" chapter that hits theatres this December. Do you have any theories about how the infant fits into the season's story? Favreau and company also have great fun sprinkling their scenes with all the little gizmos and weirdos that let fans know we're in good hands, that the child within is still being served.
