Goo Hara was a member of the South Korean idol group Kara.
The 28-year-old, best known as a member of the girl band Kara, was found dead on Sunday 24 November at her home in Cheongdam, Seoul.
Police would not comment on a cause of death.
Hara had posted a tearful message on her Instagram shortly after Sulli's dying, grieving the passing of her pal.
After the incident, Hara apologized to her fans saying, "I'm sorry for causing a fuss and to concern you all". A month after her hospitalisation, she threatened to take legal action against malicious comments that were being directed against her and also revealed that had been suffering from depression. She captioned the breath-taking picture: Good Night (in the Korean language), wishing her 1.7 million followers.
"A handwritten note that was pessimistic about her life was found on a living room table", Lee Yong-pyo, commissioner of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, told reporters.
Dilapidated Kara superstar Goo Hara used to be discovered tiresome on Sunday on the age of 28, factual weeks after her shut buddy Sulli died in a suspected suicide. Goo Hara left DSP Media, the management company that the group was under, in 2016 after the expiration of her contract and the group went on an indefinite hiatus.
No other person visited Goo Hara's home between that time and her housekeeper discovering her physique at 6pm. The South Korean singer and actress passed away over the weekend. Choi was later found guilty of blackmail and assault and was given a suspended sentence earlier this year. Through these issues, her fans and the public have always supported Hara.
After retiring from the group, Koo Hara launched a solo career. Yonhap news agency also reported that the star had allegedly attempted to commit suicide earlier in May and was hospitalised for the same.
Goo's death comes a month after Sulli - a fellow K-pop star and her close friend - took her own life in October after a long struggle with online bullying.
Suicide is one of the leading causes of death for young South Koreans.
