Apple's iPhone shipments in China dropped by more than 35% in November compared with the same period past year, Reuters reported, citing a report by Credit Suisse. Kuo did not reveal the exact pricing, but claimed that it would not be more than $50 over the current iPhone's pricing, said a report by MacRumors.
For the four high-end devices, set to feature 5G connectivity for the first time, Apple is expecting additional manufacturing costs of between $30-$100 per device, but it has reportedly braced itself to swallow those costs, rather than increase prices. In his research note, Kuo said that Apple aims to "offset the cost of 5G by reducing its supply chain expenses, potentially including dropping its upfront non-recurring engineering payment to suppliers of the redesigned metal chassis and frame for 5G iPhones".
The original iPhone SE, which launched in 2016, had a 4-inch screen and familiar design.
iPhone 12 Professional Max 5G with a 6.1-inch OLED panel, the triple digicam setup, and ToF. The higher-end 6.1-inch iPhone and 6.7-inch iPhone will have a triple camera setup and will most likely replace the iPhone 11 Pro series.
J.P. Morgan analyst Samik Chatterjee believes that Apple will release a 5.4-inch iPhone, two 6.1-inch iPhones and one 6.7-inch iPhone with 5G connectivity in 2020.
As for video, each of the cameras in the iPhone 11 Pro is capable of shooting in 4K resolution and is aided by Apple's "cinematic video stabilization" which helps to reduce camera-shake. Some reports say the iPhone 12 would get a smaller notch for housing the Face ID sensors.
