Taking place after the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home in which the Wall-crawler's secret identity was revealed to the public, an interesting element of this recent development is that the events of the greater MCU will directly affect Sony's Spider-Verse of movies, but the events of Sony's Spider-Verse won't directly affect the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
What did you think of the new Morbius trailer?
The photo was posted on Twitter, initially by a known insider of the entertainment industry.
Early on in the trailer it is made apparent that Morbius is a Nobel-winning scientist afflicted with a rare blood disease. The character previously appeared on TV in Spider-Man: The Animated Series and Ultimate Spider-Man Vs The Sinister Six, and was originally earmarked to make his film debut in Blade until his cameo was deleted and plans to make him the villain in Blade II scrapped. In the "Morbius" trailer he would appear to be sporting the same prison garb that he was wearing at the end of "Homecoming". You might not know the name Morbius yet, but you soon will with the Leto-starring film, which follows the titular anti-hero as he accidentally becomes the only living vampire. Dr. Morbius is dangerously ill with a rare blood disease and determined to save other people from suffering his same fate. Poison was criticized by some sectors for relying too much on lower CGI, but it seems that Morbium You will use many outdated practical effects to bring the Living Vampire to the big screen.
So if "Morbius" is going to be a part of the MCU, everyone is still playing coy about it. "Lost in Space" co-creators Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless wrote the script.
He goes on to gain bat-like qualities including a thirst for blood as it teased a potential showdown with The Crown's Matt Smith, who plays the film's primary villain, Loxias Crown.
Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach will produce the film with Lucas Foster, with Sony executive Palak Patel overseeing for the studio.
We haven't seen or heard much from Morbius since early past year, when a series of set photos made their way onto the internet along with a motion poster shared by Leto on social media.
