The penultimate episode of Arrow, titled "Green Arrow and the Canaries", also know as "Livin' in The Future", airs on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
That does, however, raise the question of what exactly will happen in the two remaining episodes of Arrow after the titular character died trying to defeat the Anti-Monitor (LaMonica Garrett). So glad we could make this happen and keep it a secret until today. The expanding franchise that is Arrowverse would not even be here if it were not for the initial success of the individual Green Arrow exhibition, so it was appropriate for the "Crisis" to culminate with the death of Oliver Queen. The CW's heroes all exist together on Earth-Prime, so that's now where The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning, the last few episodes of Arrow, the Arrow spinoff, and Superman & Lois will all take place.
"In our series finale, we have the challenge of what is his role in the finale once he dies in eight?" And I will not tell you what that is. She then teased that the episode "Fadeout" honors the entire series and completes different storylines for characters from all our seasons, in principle - past and present - in a hopefully very satisfying way. NONE of us knew!
Luckily, fans will not have to wait too long until Arrow season 8 is added to Netflix in the US. And now, the DCEU is officially a part of the Arrowverse, along with nearly every other live-action adaptation of DC properties that have ever been created, including Tom Welling and Brandon Routh's Supermen, Micheal Keaton and Adam West's Batmen, Constantine, Lucifer and many more.
Despite seeing that go down, we still have to wonder.is he really dead?
We all need to tune into the final to find out how exactly Oliver's story ends, but we can't stop thinking of Amell's claim in San Diego Comic-Con that Arrow would have a happy ending. Even so, it would've been nice to see Kid Flash make an appearance in the CW's big crossover.
After much anticipation, fans geared up to watch "Part Four" of the installment on Arrow on January 14, 2020 at 8PM on The CW South Florida.
