If it is authentic, it would bolster Democrats' argument that Trump associates spent almost a year trying to oust the ambassador, Marie Yovanovich, because they saw her as an obstacle in their efforts to pressure Ukraine into investigating Trump's political rival Joe Biden.
Parnas previously told The Washington Post about Trump's outburst, explaining that it came after he and Fruman made negative comments about Yovanovitch.
"Get rid of her", Trump allegedly said in a conversation. I don't care. Get her out tomorrow.
"She's not a simple fool [,] trust me", Parnas responded.
Text messages from past year, released by the House this month, indicated that Lutsenko agreed to provide Parnas with damaging information related to former vice president Joe Biden if the Trump administration recalled the ambassador.

Just last week, Parnas' attorney transferred more materials after a series of rulings from the judge in his criminal case, granting him permission to share records obtained by the government with House impeachment investigators to comply with a subpoena, including documents seized from Parnas' home and the complete extraction of Parnas' iPhone 11 and Samsung phone, seized from him upon his arrest in October 2019.
