The Westerdam, which is operated by Holland America, was refused permission to dock by numerous countries over the past 11 days, including the Philippines, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea.
Though Thai officials are concerned that passengers aboard MS Westerdam may be infected by the virus, the ship's operator says there is no reason to believe that there are any cases of coronavirus on board.
"I have issued orders".
The atmosphere is in stark contrast to the gloom encasing the Diamond Princess, a quarantined Japanese cruise ship riddled with the virus which has forced passengers into a depressing lockdown in cabins.
"All guests on board are healthy and despite erroneous reports there are no known or suspected cases of coronavirus on board, nor have their ever been", the company said. It said the cruise will end there and passengers will disembark over several days and transfer via charter flights to Phnom Penh to catch flights home.
Cambodia has agreed to let a cruise ship, that has been turned away by five countries over fears that someone aboard may have the coronavirus, to dock and disembark its passengers, the Holland America Line said on Wednesday.
Another cruise, Diamond Princess, has been quarantined at the Yokohama port since February 4, where 135 passengers were found to be infected with coronavirus as of Monday, according to Kyodo News.
It was not clear if the passengers were aware that Thailand had denied permission for the ship to dock.
Other activities on offer include colouring for adults, teeth whitening, poker tournaments, whisky tasting, even a lecture on modern China which delved into the economics of collective farming, according to passengers on board and a copy of the ship's activity programme.
The ship is now sailing off the coast of southern Vietnam, according to the World Health Organization.
By noon today, the Westerdam was 280km from the Thai coast and on a heading for Bangkok, according to data published by the Marine Traffic ship tracking website.
A February 15 cruise scheduled to leave from Yokohama, Japan has also been cancelled.
The ship had already introduced extra health screening measures, including temperature checks and cleaning to defend against the virus, Holland America said in a statement.
The Westerdam departed Hong Kong on Feb 1 on a 14-day Taiwan and Japan cruise.
In China, where the outbreak's origin is linked to a fish market in Wuhan, Hubei province, the National Health Commission on Tuesday raised the number of deaths to, 016 and the number of infected people to 42 638.
A total of 78 United Kingdom passport holders - including crew - were among those who boarded the ship, sources told the PA news agency. "I'm in the salon having my hair done right now and getting ready to hit the buffet", Christina Kerby said on Twitter, where her photos of yoga or posts on morning spin classes have bounced around.
