The Director of the Cayce Department of Public Safety Byron Snelgrove held a press conference Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.to provide an update on their investigation into the disappearance of Faye Swetlic. Police are now investigating the case as a homicide.
Officials said Thursday that they have identified an SUV they were seeking, but are still looking for a silver vehicle seen in photos, WLOS reports.
Faye Swetlik, 6, has been missing from her home in sc for three days. He said no arrests have been made in the girl's death.
Cayce Police also announced at a Thursday news conference that a body of a man was also recently found in Faye Marie Swetlik's neighborhood. "... We will not be taking questions".
She returned home on a school bus Monday and was last seen playing in her yard by family at about 3:45 p.m., said Sgt. Evan Antley of the Cayce Department of Public Safety. "She's not the type of kid that will up and walk away". He said she could have hurt herself preventing her return.

Faye was a first grader at Springdale Elementary School in West Columbia.
He did not elaborate on Faye's death but said a deceased male was found in Faye's neighborhood of Churchill Heights.
Police are still urgently searching for a missing six year old last seen getting off a bus.
"We're waiting for her to bounce back in the room", they said.
For the past few days, Faye's grandmother, Ruth Collins, has been pleading to the public on social media for help with finding her granddaughter. A Facebook post from the Cayce Department of Public Safety says Faye has strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes and was last seen wearing polka dot boots and a black t-shirt.
Federal Bureau of Investigation agents searched the backyard and porch area Tuesday afternoon.
In all, more than 250 law enforcement officers from different agencies are involved with the search Tuesday, officials said. "Her mom was very attentive in watching Faye".
Faye is lactose intolerant and has a speech impediment, the department said.
"Faye loves dresses, fancy shoes, spending time with her family, cats and playing outside".
