The unauthorised images were taken during an outdoor location shoot for the film at the Glasgow Necropolis cemetery in Scotland, according to the caption accompanying the images on PA Wire. Taking its cues from Lee Bermejo's design in the comic "Batman: Noël", the video shows what appears to be a stunt-double driving a motorcycle through a graveyard. Thanks to some production images shot during the Glasgow filming of The Batman, comic fans can pick apart all the changes made to the suit in this story about Bruce Wayne's early crimefighting days. We're too excited by the many possibilities to wait for the actual reveal to come, so we took it upon ourselves to see what Pattinson's Dark Knight would look like with various ear styles based on how Batman has been drawn by iconic artists over the years.
However, praise the heavens because footage from "The Batman" shoot has leaked online and we get quite a good look of the "Batsuit" and the "Batmobile", reports News18.
This full-body photo of the more utilitarian Batsuit comes just a week after Matt Reeves shared a first look of Pattinson in the suit by way of a v. moody video. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy with Robert Pattinson as Batman.
Head over to Variety for a look at additional set images that are part of this leak. The film is scheduled to release on June 25, 2021.
Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.
