The convention now is to take place August 17-20 in Milwaukee, a week before the Republicans are to gather in Charlotte from August 24-27.
David Plouffe, who worked as a campaign manager and adviser to former President Barack Obama, predicted President Donald Trump will receive a "historical" turnout from his supporters in the 2020 election, commenting, "That makes him very unsafe if you're Joe Biden".
