A rising star from Philadelphia, Chynna was well on her way to making her mark as both a model and a rapper.
In 2016, on the three-month anniversary of her sobriety, she celebrated by dropping the psychedelic mixtape Ninety, and in a 2017 interview with Vibe, she opened up about her decision to get clean. "I can regrettably verify Chynna handed away at present", her consultant John Miller wrote in an e-mail to HollywoodLife on Wednesday, April 8.
Rogers signed with Ford Models at age 14.
The performer released several albums in the years after her introduction to the music world, including Music 2 Die 2 in 2016, in which she addressed her own ongoing battle with opioid addiction.
While her cause of death is now unknown, Chynna previously opened up about struggling with an opiod addiction as her career started to take off, Pitchfork reports. He went on so as to add that "Chynna was deeply liked and will probably be sorely missed" by her household. Her last release, 'in case I die first', dropped in January.
She said: "My mum would be really tight with me if I used her as an excuse to fall off".
