Officially, Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide on August 10, 2019, while imprisoned in the special housing unit at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, N.Y., awaiting trial following accusations he was involved in sex-trafficking teenage girls in NY and Florida.
The new charges correlate with multiple accusations from girls who have come forward regarding their abuse by Epstein, who said Maxwell had a network of girls who she would coerce into performing sexual acts on the disgraced financier.
