According to outlets like the New York Post, the woman, who's choosing to remain anonymous for now, is willing to testify in court if need be, saying of Maxwell's abuse "She did rape me". Mr Epstein's relationship with Prince Andrew has been of particular interest in the United Kingdom and many believe that Ms Maxwell may have damning evidence against the Duke of York.
Four of the six charges cover Maxwell's dealings with Epstein from 1994 to 1997, when she was in an "intimate relationship" with him, according to the indictment.
"I don't think she is going to get out of jail alive".
Ms Goldman told Andrew that "she should face her punishment" regardless of how she was treated by Epstein and made sure to stress that she was not condoning any alleged activity by Ms Maxwell.
The US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Audrey Strauss, recently came out and said she and the rest of the officials would welcome Prince Andrew to come to talk with them.
Ghislaine Maxwell sat on the Queen's throne during a private tour of Buckingham Palace organised by the Duke of York, it has been reported. The purported victim, who is one those who filed a lawsuit for damages, eventually managed to escape when she moved to Los Angeles in 1999, around the time Maxwell reportedly introduced Epstein to Prince Andrew.
"The fact that she and he would exchange so much money indicates that they had a very close business relationship and that he clearly trusted her with a phenomenal amount of money", former federal prosecutor Duncan Levin told CNN.
When asked if Ms Maxwell would cooperate with the American authorities, Ms Goldman insisted that "she's definitely gonna sing, but she's not gonna go against Prince Andrew". "And I think that this is a dynamic where a lot of people, at the same time, can't imagine some of the things that this particular young woman is describing".
Ms Goldman added that rumours of apparent incriminating videos of sexual abuse don't exist, or so she was told by Ms Maxwell.
