The wait for news about F1 2020 is finally over.
My Team is a new major game mode coming to the franchise.
F1 2020 releases on July 10th.
To celebrate the announcement, developer Codemasters has released the announcement trailer which you can view below.
"As huge fans of F1®, we continue to innovate and develop game modes that bring players even closer to the real-world sport", said Lee Mather, F1® 2019 Game Director at Codemasters. "We've also added new modes to enable more casual players to get up to speed more easily, and we've brought back split-screen for social play with friends".
Codemasters has revealed F1 2020, the 2020 edition of their yearly Formula One game, and it will launch on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia on July 10.
Players will manage as well as drive for the team alongside the established 10-team field in the full 22-race career mode.
Marking the 70th birthday of Formula One racing, there'll be a Michael Schumacher Deluxe Edition of the game, which comes with a bunch of exclusive content - as well as the chance to play as the legendary driver himself in "four of his most iconic cars". These modes are in addition to the core F1 and F2 racing experiences which remain as challenging as ever for those who love the intensity of simulation racing.
This year is the first time that Lewis Hamilton can potentially match the record seven world championships of Michael Schumacher - you know, so long as there actually is a championship this year - and to mark that possible achievement, Codemasters have created a Michael Schumacher Deluxe Edition.
A couple of editions will be available to purchase.
Hanoi Circuit and Circuit Zandvoort are new additions, and F1 2020 hopes to encourage new players to put the pedal to the metal by moderating "the difficulty and time barrier to entry while retaining the auto handling that our simulation players love".
