Paul Pogba has said he is "happy" at Manchester United a day after manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said he was hopeful the midfielder will sign a new contract at Old Trafford.
"I can't comment on discussions between players and the club but of course we want to keep the best players", Solskjaer said per Sky Sports.
Even though Fred and McTominay will be trying to break into the first eleven, they will be learning a lot from Matic as he will be the benchmark as the Serbian is Solskjær's first-team choice for that position. "We have secured one at the start [McTominay] and another who is really experienced [Matic] but we also need players in the mid-range group".
"Since Paul has come again he's looking superior and better. Football fans who know football see that and that's the difference that we have and it's great to see them at their best", he added.
Pogba has entered the final year of his deal, although the club hold an option to extend until 2022.
Manchester United playmaker Paul Pogba praised the team's forward line and said watching them play makes him enjoy football.
"The most important thing I would say for him is ignore the hype, ignore what people are saying, just focus on yourself, keep doing what he's doing and there is no reason why he can't become a very important player for Manchester United in the future. All this together has put us where we are today". "What we need to see from Grealish, instead of all this talk on social media, is do it on the pitch, do it over the next five games, show what playing for Aston Villa is all about".
"You just keep applauding, and it's attractive, they make me enjoy football every time". We have to always keep having the goal to improve ourselves and never get satisfied with what we did. And he's scored, mind you, 16 goals.
"Bruno, Rashy, Mason... hey if you got two goals, great, but go for three, why not".
As per The Telegraph, the Manchester United manager wants to replace Marcos Rojo and he wants a left-footed centre back. You have to keep this mentality, keep a clean sheet too.
