Anupam Kher`s mother, brother, sister-in-law test positive for COVID-19

The actor said his and nephew Pranit's tests were negative. However, he has stated that her symptoms are mild, and that she has been admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in Mumbai. Anupam Kher, in his tweet, also wrote that he has informed Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) about his family members' test reports.

Kher said his mother experienced loss of appetite for a few days, following which they visited the doctor who recommended routine tests. She has been admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital. Upon testing, she was found mildly Covid +. She is doing fine. "All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!", tweeted Abhishek. Despite the extreme amount of carefulness displayed by my brother and his family over the last few months, they still tested positive. My brother, bhabhi & niece inspite of being careful to have also tested mildly positive.I got myself tested as well & I have tested negative. So I urge everyone to take this seriously and understand that no amount of safety measures are enough. "Let's be vigilant, let's be aware and let's fight the bad times together".

"Prayers for the speedy recovery of your family", Bipasha Basu commented. The actor added that after her mother's corona diagnosis, he and his brother also got themselves tested.

Taking to micro-blogging site, Twitter, he shared a video informing his fans about the same. On Sunday morning, Nanavati official said in a statement the actor is admitted to the isolation unit and is stable now. Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya have tested negative for the virus.
