The Samsung Galaxy M01 Core is launched a compact 5.3-inch display with an HD+ resolution and a dynamic screen timeout feature that helps in power optimization.
Samsung in its release said Galaxy M01 Core is its third phone in India this year to be priced under ₹10,000. "The Galaxy M01 Core has been created to deliver value for money with a best-in-class performance and stylish proposition targeting users seeking best performance, experience and price", said Aditya Babbar, Director, Mobile Business, Samsung India.
Samsung on Monday launched a new Android Go-packed affordable smartphone Galaxy M01 Core at a starting price of Rs 5,499 (1GB RAM+2GB) variant in India. The second variant which comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage will be selling at Rs. 6,499. It also gets thick bezels on the top and the bottom of the screen as it is an entry-level smartphone. Galaxy M01 Core is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 6739 processor and as mentioned above comes in two memory variants. There is a 5MP selfie shooter as well. The phone comes in black, blue, and red colours. It has a 3,000 mAh battery which is said to deliver up to 11 hours of back up.
On the camera front, the Galaxy M01 Core mounts an 8MP primary camera and an LED flash placed vertically at the top-left corner of the phone. Connectivity choices consist of Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/ n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro- USB, and a 3.5 mm earphone jack. It will be available via offline and online stores from 29 July. The smartphone features "Intelligent Inputs" which includes Smart Paste and Suggest Notification features. The Galaxy M01 Core is targeted at the budget-conscious customers who mostly wish to migrate to a smartphone from using a feature phone.
