The Buckeyes were originally slated to begin on Septemeber 5, but with the new schedule, we now know that OSU will begin the season two days earlier on Septemeber 3 at IL.

Should the season continue as planned, the Big Ten Championship Game is set for December 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Iowa's opening game marks the first time since 1980 the Hawkeyes will open the season against at Big Ten opponent.
"While our strategy is to continue planning for all fall sports, if the virus continues to spread among our students despite our many preventative measures, including testing and quarantine protocols, we are also prepared to delay or cancel competition pursuant to local and state public health orders or the recommendations of our medical experts", the Conference wrote on their website. Schedule details for these other sports will be released at a later date.
KU now is slated to face Southern Illinois at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium in its season opener, on August 29, but the Big 12 indicated its season won't start that early.
Cross-division games are now scheduled for all schools in Week 1 (Sept. 5) and Week 12 (Nov. 21). During the season, those will be managed by a third party.
One note, these could all be ditched for other options.
The league will start the season in mid-to-late September with the expectation that nonconference games are played prior to Big 12 play.
"If you start to think about how we're going to do school. how's the season going to work, how's my eligibility going to be at the end?" "I know from my standpoint I'm taking this entire process, this entire journey, on a day-to-day basis".
Included in that announcement was Ohio State's new schedule for this upcoming season. Maryland plans to begin its season without fans in attendance.
IL noted that current state guidelines allow for attendance up to 20% of stadium capacity.
