"The search warrant affidavits are sealed and we are, therefore, prohibited from commenting further".
According to reports another search warrant was also executed in Las Vegas but no arrests were planned.
It is unknown if Paul was home during the raid and if any property or evidence was taken.
A tweet by ABC7 Eyewitness News said: "Authorities have seized multiple firearms from the Calabasas home of YouTube Star Jake Paul after the Federal Bureau of Investigation served a search warrant early this morning". No arrests were made.
While it remains unclear why law enforcement officials chose to visit the former Disney Channel star's home, Paul, who is the younger brother of fellow YouTuber Logan Paul, has been involved in a range of controversial events this year.
"It has been decided that in the cases charging Jake Paul, Arman Izadi and Andrew Leon it is in the best interest of the community to dismiss misdemeanor charges without prejudice so that a federal criminal investigation can be completed". However, he stated that he had not been involved with any looting or vandalism and was simply documenting the scene.
In response to Paul's bash and recent large gatherings held by others, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department has been instructed to shut down any events in the city that violate health orders.
Paul was blasted online for hosting crowded parties at his mansion despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, telling Insider that "I personally am not the type of person who's gonna sit around and not live my life".
This story has yet to unfold.
This isn't the first time that Paul has had a brush with the law, though, as officers in Scottsdale, Ariz., had previously charged Paul with criminal trespassing and unlawful assembly.
