The generality of Google and Facebook employees resume back to their offices for work next year, but they are to carry on with their duties from home. With this, Pichai said that Google will start opening its offices in many countries of the world from June.
CEO Mark Zuckerberg previously said the company would be slow about returning employees to physical offices to help other people who have to return to their workplaces sooner.
The trend for working from home may suit some companies while they redesign their office spaces to cater to new social distancing guidelines.

Similarly, Facebook will allow most of its employees to continue working from home through the end of the year, with offices remaining closed until July 6th at the earliest.
