Bonnie Henry announced 165 new cases of COVID-19, as well as one more death.
Dr. Henry said there are two new health-care facility outbreaks, one at Delta Hospital and one at Peace Arch Hospital, both in the Fraser Health region - in total, 11 long-term care or assisted-living facilities and five acute-care facilities have active outbreaks.

Marion County health officials are seeing fewer tests for Covid and fewer reported cases as county residents have fled their homes due to wildfires or sheltered at home to avoid hazardous air. COVID-19 requires compromise and give and take. Additionally, 206 people were reported to have recovered from the virus, raising the total number of recoveries in the county to 19,184. According to the Regenstrief Institute, 85,334 people have recovered from the virus while 13,202 are now fighting the virus. This is the highest daily infections in the country so far.
In related news, California Gov. Gavin Newsom today signed AB 685, which requires employers to notify employees within one business day if they were exposed to COVID-19 in the workplace.
