Surprisingly, the fifth iPhone 12 Mini is said to have a much affordable price tag. A new leak has now hinted at the possible prices of the upcoming iPhone 12 series.
While we wait for the arrival of Apple's first 5G smartphones, the iPhone 12 series, there is information about its next-generation smartphones, iPhone 13 series. Though the company has not confirmed it, Apple leakster Jon Prosser has confirmed that the company will reveal the next-gen iPhones on the same day.
5 iPhone 12 models will launch on October 13. However, the iPhone 12 series of smartphones might take a week or two before they hit the store shelves.
According to DSCC founder and display analyst Ross Young, the iPhone 13 lineup will mirror the iPhone 12 family of phones, with a 5.4-inch iPhone 13 Mini, 6.1-inch iPhone 13, 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max all launching at once in 2021.
The iPhone 12 is set to start at $749 going up to $899. This indicates that it will copy the design of the iPhone 11 in 2019. Apple's depth-sensing Lidar sensors are also said to feature in the iPhone 12 models. While the 6.67-inch model's display will be provided by Samsung only, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13's 6-inch screens will be delivered by LG and BOE. This is also for the first time that we're hearing about the "iPhone 13 mini" version.
iPhone 12 price will start at $649.
If reports are correct, 2021 could finally be the year of 120Hz on the iPhone.
All iPhone 13 models may get sub-6GHz 5G connectivity, but the Pro models will also have faster mmWave 5G in addition to the slower but more widespread connection. As per the chart, iPhone 13 lineup is believed to include a 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max, 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro, 6.1-inch iPhone 13, and 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini.
iPhone 12 Pro Max 128GB, 256GB and 512GB models will cost $1,099 (around Rs 83,300), $1,199 (around Rs 90,900) and $1,399 (around Rs 1,06,000) respectively. However, since these are just rumours and placeholder names for now, there's no confirmation if the iPhone 13 will have a model with "mini" moniker or not.
