Speaking of the next-generation consoles; Bungie also announced earlier this year that Destiny 2 will be coming to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at some point. After the upgrade, Destiny 2 will run at 60 frames per second on all next-gen consoles. In the Xbox Series X/S, this will be possible through Microsoft's Xbox Smart Delivery. A current-gen version will also be released on November 10, allowing users to upgrade to the next-gen version for free. The Xbox Series S will receive all these same benefits, except resolution, which will be capped at 1080p. But before they do, you'll want to make sure to download them to your enabled gaming console of choice and bask in their greatness. Destiny 2 is not an exclusive game for either and will run similarly on the PS5 and the Xbox Series X, for the most part.
