The "Snyder Cut" will implement themes, elements and ideas that the filmmaker had meant to include in the original film before he was forced to depart the 2016 production amid the tragic death of his daughter.
The film is said to have a much darker tone than the original and will be released on HBO Max in four one-hour instalments.
The actor, who portrayed the character in David Ayer's "Suicide Squad", has joined the cast of "Justice League" in the shooting of some additional scenes, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The move made Leto so furious that he allegedly tried to tell the studio that it should stop the film.
Fisher is supposed to come back for The Flash movie, and as noted, is now filming new Snyder Cut scenes, and has since pretty much gone silent on any new accusations. What's interesting about this is that not only was Jared Leto's Joker nowhere to be seen in the theatrical version of Justice League, but there was never any word about him appearing in Zack Snyder's version of the movie.
Selection has additionally confirmed that authentic "Justice League" producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg is not going to be credited on the brand new Zack Snyder model. Snyder has returned to the project, which will air on HBO MAX as a four-part miniseries sometime in 2021. Since Leto's performance, Joaquin Phoenix won an Oscar for playing the Clown Prince of Crime in last year's "Joker". "I thought it was genuine, but now they're pretending genuine enthusiasm about the return of Leto's Joker?".
We're not sure who asked for this but Jared Leto will reprise his role as Joker. Luckily, Snyder is here to offer Leto's Joker one chance, if not the only chance at redemption.
Given the fandom around the film and Snyder's initial plans, many members of the film industry have passionately petitioned for the release of his first cut of Justice League. "I would literally blow that [explicit] thing up", Screen Rant quoted Snyder, as saying.
