The Dodgers lead the series, 3-2, after winning Game 5, 4-2, on Sunday.
The two teams will meet in Game 6 on Tuesday night at Globe Life Field.
However, Cash refused to place blame on Margot for running the Rays out of the inning. Margot had already stolen second and advanced to third on an errant throw after drawing a leadoff walk.
Replay of the sequence showed both Justin Turner and Max Muncy beginning to shout at Kershaw to alert him of Margot's attempted steal.
"Well, it's happened to me before, at least one other time that I can remember", Kershaw said. And at that point in time, once he did that, I thought it was time to take the baseball. He was called up to make a spot start eight days into the season, but returned to the Dodgers' alternate site for two weeks before he was recalled again.
"I was fortunate enough to see one or two guys break hard, so I knew what to expect when he broke", Muncy said.
Seager's tiebreaking single in the eighth, when he punched Nick Anderson's 95 miles per hour fastball just over shortstop Willy Adames into short left field, put the Dodgers ahead 7-6 and made Seager and Turner only the fourth pair of teammates to both have four hits in a Series game. The Rays had 2 runners in scoring position when Margot got thrown out at home by Clayton Kershaw, who did a great job of not balking on the play. Rookie sensation Randy Arozarena then singled to shallow left to score Diaz from third base to cut the Rays' deficit to 3-2.
In the fifth inning, the Dodgers got a much-needed insurance run when Muncy blasted a 434-foot home run to right.
Kershaw escaped a first-and-third, no-outs jam in the fourth after Margot walked leading off, stole second and continued to third when the ball got away from second baseman Chris Taylor for his second big error in two games. Kershaw struck out six batters, giving him 207 career postseason strikeouts in 189 innings.
