This is not a drill.
Isaac certainly seems like an ideal choice to take on the role of Moon Knight.
Oscar Isaac, the actor who also happens to be the physical embodiment of sex appeal, is reportedly being eyed by Marvel to star as Moon Knight in the character's upcoming Disney+ series. Created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin and first introduced in the pages of Werewolf By Night back in 1975, he's a complicated protagonist, a former Marine and mercenary who stumbled onto an ancient Egyptian shrine to the god Khonshu. A new report reveals that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actor Oscar Isaac is being considered for the titular role in the highly anticipated Disney+ show. As is usually the case, different writers and artists have put their own spin on the basic idea and it's expected the show will do the same. However, it looks like Marvel is going with a Star Wars veteran for Moon Knight. This gives Marvel the opportunity to tell a really good story about mental health - something on all of our minds these days - and Isaac is certainly capable of handling a potentially hard and sensitive performance. "WandaVision" is on deck to debut later this year, followed by "Loki" and "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" in early 2021. Nor has any production timeline been set yet-and there are numerous projects likely ahead of Moon Knight in the queue, such as announced series like She-Hulk (starring Tatiana Maslany) and Ms. Marvel (starring Iman Vellani). Marvel Studios can also be growing the exhibits "Hawkeye" and "Ms. Marvel" as live-action exhibits. Each of those recently gained its star and signals things are full speed ahead on the future of Marvel, its streaming shows, and the cinematic universe to which they all belong.
