THE Vietnamese Grand Prix is absent from Formula One's draft 2021 calendar, which features a record 23 rounds and a controversial debut for Saudi Arabia.
The schedule also confirmed the addition of Saudi Arabia to the Formula 1 ticket for the first time, seeing the city of Jeddah's Corniche coastal road hosting a night race along the banks of the Red Sea.

The Dutch Grand Prix, at Zandvoort, returns for the first time since 1985 with a race on September 5 and immediately after the August 29 Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps.
This was meant to commence in 2021, but with time ticking for the required approvals to be granted and the window becoming too small, it has been chose to keep the grand prix at Interlagos.
The season starts with the Australian Grand Prix on March 28.
There will be a total of two triple-headers in seven weeks including a Russia-Singapore-Japan trio.
F1's chairman and CEO Chase Carey said that he hopes that events will be "close to normal" next year despite the pandemic, including having fans through the gates.
"We believe it is incredibly important to give everyone the chance to reach the highest levels of our sport and their partnership with Formula One next season shows our determination and commitment to showcase their exciting series and the importance of building greater diversity across the sport".
Vietnam's vacated 23-25 April weekend has been left blank on the provisional 22-race calendar in the hope another event can be found to fill the gap.
