The win in Georgia now gives Mr Biden a total of 306 electoral college votes further increasing the gap against President Donald Trump who is projected to win the state of North Carolina, taking his count of electoral votes to 232, still falling way short of 270, the number required to win the presidency. Trump then left the event in the White House Rose Garden without responding to reporters who were shouting questions such as, "When will you admit you lost the election, sir?"
Trump also said a coronavirus vaccine could be available to the public as soon as April next year.
Even if it does, there's no information yet indicating if the vaccine works in older adults or just younger, healthier adults.
