Leaker Evan Blass has shared some product images ahead of today's' expected iPhone 12 launch.
As part of Apple's biggest re-design ever of the iconic device, the new smartphone included a 6.1 inch screen, with prices starting from $799 or $699 in the case of the iPhone 12 mini.
The latter had a 6.7 inch screen, the largest ever installed on an iPhone.
The LiDAR sensor, first introduced on the iPad Pro lineup, brings a suite of new augmented reality and photographic capabilities to the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 12 Pro is available for preorder this Friday, October 16th, and will ship on October 23rd. The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB models in graphite, silver, gold, and pacific blue starting at Rs 119,900 and Rs 129,900, respectively.
The iPhone 12 Pro will start at $999, while the Pro max will start at $1099.
All iPhone 12s were designed for use with 5G technology in mind and were given faster processors, improved cameras and OLED screens. The company also stated that more users are switching to wireless charging methods.
Prosser claims that the much-rumoured Apple AirTags is not launching at the iPhone 12 launch event on October 13. The iPhone 12 series is said to be powered by Apple's A14 Bionic chip and will run on iOS 14. Including mmWave support for all four United States models also adds headwind for gross margin. Apart from the iPhones, Apple is also rumoured to launch a pair of over-the-ears headphones, possible to be known as the AirPods Studio, as well as a new HomePod Mini smart speaker. HomePod mini will be available in white and space grey colors at Rs 9,900.
