Seattle is now tied with the Minnesota Lynx and the defunct Houston Comets for the most titles in WNBA history.
"The city of Seattle has always had our back", Stewart said.
While not as widely publicized as the NBA's Orlando bubble, the WNBA was also able to carry out a successful and safe season in Florida.
The virtual event will include an address from head coach Gary Kloppenburg, and a conversation with Elise Woodward and Storm players. She set a WNBA record as she scored at least 20 points in her sixth straight Finals game - she is 6-for-6 as she's scored 20 or more in every Finals game of her career.
Breanna Stewart had 26 points and four rebounds as the second-seeded Seattle Storm completed a three-game sweep of the No. 1 seed Las Vegas Aces to win their record-tying fourth WNBA championship. The 26-year-old won a second WNBA Finals MVP as a unanimous choice and was almost unstoppable in the championship round.
In Game 3, star guard Jewell Lloyd finished with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists, and forward Alysha Clark, who led the league in three-point percentage this season, added 10 points. Although he eventually did say he would exit the White House if the vote were not in his favor, that answer came after he first repeatedly cast doubt on the Electoral College and election in general. She is presently the fifth player in league history to win various Finals MVP awards.
If Bird is healthy, it would be hard to see her not come back and give it another go, especially with the Tokyo Olympics in play.
"Interestingly enough it's never a day of decision". And I got 74 million but there were many ballots thrown away, so I got much more than that. The Storm defeated the Las Vegas Aces to win the title.
"I think the greatest challenge was just all the adversity. Like, listen the way I feel right now - if I can go through my offseason and continue to build on that in a good way, I don't see why I won't be playing next summer".
It's way too early to know when or where next season will be played.
Stewart was runner-up to the Aces' A'ja Wilson for regular season MVP this season, after averaging 19.7 points and 8.3 rebounds, coming off an Achilles tear that sidelined her for the entire 2019 season.
