Mercedes Formula One superstar Lewis Hamilton will now be granted an honorary title of knighthood for his success in the sport and contribution to society.
Lewis also reflected on his decision to take the knee at races as a display against racism.
The Formula One racing star will be honoured at the annual awards ceremony - which is going virtual for 2020 owing to the coronavirus pandemic - and he has opened up about his own experience with racism.
