Steelers-Ravens set to play on Tuesday night

The Ravens returned positive COVID-19 tests Monday through Thursday this week, signaling an outbreak.

Now, with Jackson's diagnosis in mind, the National Football League has postponed the game, once again. The Ravens were supposed to play the Pittsburgh Steelers last night, and instead, the game was pushed to Sunday.

The Steelers and Ravens will wait another two days to play.

Griffin would be in line to start at quarterback for Baltimore if the team plays against Pittsburgh in Week 12.

Griffin, who is the Baltimore Ravens' backup quarterback, said on Twitter that he was praying for Jackson and everyone within the Ravens' organization dealing with COVID.

Third-string quarterback Trace McSorley is also on the Reserve/COVID-19 list (last Friday), meaning undrafted rookie Tyler Huntley is now the only other quarterback on the roster (practice squad).

The Ravens have disciplined one of their staffers for failure to follow protocol, reportedly a strength and conditioning coach. He still won't play Tuesday night against the #Steelers, but based on the timeline, it's possible he could be cleared in time for the rescheduled December 7 game against the #Cowboys. The NFL first moved the game-which was initially scheduled for Thursday night-to Sunday afternoon.

With the game's status uncertain, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin canceled Friday's practice. They had four consecutive days of positive tests. His seven sacks rank third on the team behind outside linebackers T.J. Watt and Bud Dupree.
