Microsoft Flight Simulator gets new airports, visual enhancements in U.S

But as the programmers at Asobo Studio continue to encourage the match, the group has launched a roadmap for articles coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator in ancient 2021, such as a world upgrade focused on the UK.

Among 2020s greatest breakout releases was Asobo Studios' Microsoft Flight Simulator. In detailing what will be bundled into the sim over the next few major patches, Asobo has revealed that the United Kingdom world update will head to Flight Sim on January 26. Presumably, the third major World Update will similarly overhaul the UK's landscape, adding iconic landmarks, higher-quality topography and landscapes, and overhauled airports to the European nation.

The company had released the "World Update I: Japan" in September that included graphical improvements across the volcanic island chain along with exciting landing challenges set at Japanese airports.

Asobo has also said it is working on Northern Ireland, but they are not sure if it will be ready in time for the next update.

Microsoft Flight Simulator's World Update 2 is on the market free of charge - when you obtain the patch, simply head to the in-game market to say the World Update.

You can get more information about what it will actually take to run the beast in VR once a Feature Discovery Series about the new feature is released on December 17.

Additionally, players can expect more updates for the USA portion of the sim's world, too. Unfortunately, until the VR update arrives, you'll have to play it on a regular ol' monitor, but don't worry; it's more than pretty enough even without the headset.
