A lot happened in the latest episode of the Mandalorian that just dropped today, titled "The Jedi". Check out "The Jedi" now streaming on the offifical Disney Plus streaming app and let us know in the comments if you find any! Her live-action entrance was arguably even better than what many Star Wars fans had hoped for and, since the episode premiered, they've been praising Dawson's take. However, the fandom is not so easily swayed. And, unlike Boba Fett and Bo-Katan's nebulous age, Ahsoka Tano should be around 45 in the time of The Mandalorian, which lines up pretty well with Dawson, who is 41. In a sweet Instagram post, she expressed her excitement about the love her character is receiving. After the rise of the Empire, he was hidden in the Jedi temple for his safety but someone stole him. The use of the environment throughout the sequence, from Ahsoka using the mist and trees to sneak up on her enemies, made for some pretty great visuals. Naturally, Filoni also managed to sneak in Ahsoka's trusty convor (aka owl) companion, Morai, as an easter egg when Mando was exploring the forest.
It was thanks to Ahsoka that viewers learned more about Baby Yoda/Grogu, as the pair were able to access their Jedi power known as the Force in order to communicate. As with all good TV shows, these revelations raise more questions than answers: did Ahsoka know about Grogu at the Temple?
Guys, this means Grogu probably met Yoda! Ahsoka is unable to see any further as the building fear in him led him to repress his "dark", traumatic memories.
But she warns Mando, "There aren't many Jedi left". As a substitute, she directed Mando to take Child Yoda to the planet Tython.
While the way Baby Yoda passes the Force test is different, the scene after closely follows the Jedi Council rejecting the young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.
Millions of people are meeting Ahsoka for the first time after watching her in The Mandolorian and I'm excited for them to hopefully go back and watch her journey in The Clone Wars and Rebels.
This series is set about five years after the sixth movie, Return of the Jedi, so although baby Yoda is showing force abilities, the real Yoda isn't around and there aren't many Jedi about to lend a hand either. In EK Johnston's novel Ahsoka, the author fills in the gap between The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels.
